Where to even begin?! I’ve known Pat since the day I started at NorthShore 5 years ago. She was my preceptor, then became my boss, and most recently my peer again. She was the one cheerleader I had from my very first day meeting her and continued to grow that mentor relationship into a sincere friendship.
The best moments were running into Pat and Rachel shopping on the weekends with my son Brendan (sometimes running into each other twice in the same day!). Now every time we visit Target or Mariano’s, Brendan asks if we’ll see Miss Pat.
Pat was family and will always be. She faced so many obstacles but never once made it known. My thoughts, prayers, and love to everyone who will miss her sweet smile. And as Brendan reminded me today – Miss Pat is an angel watching over all of us.

My deepest condolences to out to Michael, Aaron, and Rachel in this difficult time. Pat was an amazing woman. Ever since I came to NorthShore in 2007, she has always welcomed me, supported me, and encouraged me in my career growth from the time she was a practice manager until becoming my director. Not only that, she has always been my friend. She was such a warm and caring person.
Even after my departure from NorthShore, we still kept in contact. She truly was an incredible woman. Her strength, courage, and tenacity through her battle is something she has instilled in many of friends and colleagues. Her passing is a great loss for friends and family. My thoughts are with you all. She will always be remembered and cherished.
Best,
Sarah Boling

I have known Pat for the past 8 years (since joining NorthShore). I had the honor of reporting to her directly for 2 of those years. I admired her in so may ways. She exuded warmth, caring, and kindness in all her interactions. Her strength and dignity was an example to all. I will forever remember and miss her. Not only did I lose a co-worker but a dear friend.

I have been a great admirer of Pat for many, many years, even before I arrived at NorthShore. Her wonderful attitude, work ethic and passion for patients, staff and doctors were always obvious.
The way she conducted herself over the last few years during her illness was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
My deepest sympathy to Michael, Rachel and Aaron. I will always have the fondest memories of Pat.
